This month we rolled out a lot of new features to the system!

There's been some feedback that a few features were needed, so we got to work on implementing those! Additionally, we were able to get our first California store officially live with Shergo and refined to ensure all CA customers have a great experience using Shergo!

New Features Include:

• Customer Report

  • This customer Report will serve as an easy way to view all customers, and their relevant, important information.

• Voided Sales Receipt

  • Prior, you were able to void an item on a sale, or the entire sale itself, but we didn't have a form that would automatically print to keep for your records. We've since added this and have given you an option to print them automatically if you choose.

• Active Inventory Report - Number of Days Old Range

  • This was a customer request that made perfect sense. Often times, you may want to know what items fall within a specific Aged Inventory range, like items between 60 and 90 days old. You now have the ability to set whatever ranges you want if using this setting within the Active Inventory Report.

• Cash Drawer Report Improvements

  • Previously, you were only able to view the Cash Drawer Report one Tender Type at a time. We've just made it so all of the Tender Types within your system are able to be run at the same time, or whatever combination you prefer.

• Picture Downloads

  • Shergo doesn't distort or altar your images in any way when you capture or upload a photo to an item or customer. What we've done is give you the ability to download existing photos from the system, so you can use them as needed elsewhere, either in Shergo or any other application.

• Customer Thumbprints

  • This is specifically for Police File uploads. This will make it so the customer's fingerprint, separate from the transaction, is always included in a transaction that they do while in your shop. This can not be used to search for customers.

• Pre-made Date Ranges

  • We've added a list of pre-made date ranges that can be used to quickly autofill anywhere that needs a date input.

  • Ranges Include: Today; Last 7 Days; WTD (Week To Date); Last 30 Days; MTD (Month To Date); Last 12 Months; YTD (Year To Date).

• Pawn Type per Item Category

  • Another excellent customer request. This functionality allows you to set your preferred Pawn Type on an Item Category basis. Maybe you offer 25% on most items, but on Jewelry you offer 10%, you can now set this in advance and ensure the rates you want used, are always respected.

As with all new features, appropriate permissions have been added to the User Roles, ensuring you control who can do what in your shops.
